What cookies are

Cookies we currently use

This website uses privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics. We use Plausible Analytics, which measures aggregate page views in a way that sets no cookies and does not track you across this site or any other site. The analytics script is loaded only after you accept it via the consent banner.

We do not use marketing or advertising cookies, and we do not sell advertising based on your browsing of this site.

Essential and technical

Beyond what the browser itself needs to serve and display the pages, we do not set any cookies that are required for the site to function. To remember your consent choice, the site stores a single preference in your browser's localStorage — a small storage area in your browser, not a cookie. It simply records whether you accepted or rejected the cookieless analytics, so the site can apply your choice on your next visit without showing the banner again. It does not identify you and is not shared with anyone.

When you first visit, a consent banner appears with three options: Accept, Reject, and Manage preferences. If you accept, the cookieless Plausible analytics loads; if you reject, it does not load at all. You can change your choice any time by opening the Cookie preferences link in the site footer.

Because the analytics is cookieless, it sets no cookies regardless of your choice — accepting it loads a script that measures aggregate traffic without storing anything in your browser.

Third-party trackers

The cookieless analytics script is served by Plausible (a third party) when you have accepted it via the banner. You can opt out at any time by rejecting or withdrawing consent, which prevents the script from loading. We do not currently embed advertising networks or social platforms that set their own cookies. If that changes, we will name them here and link to their own cookie policies.

You can view, block, or delete cookies through your browser's settings. Most browsers let you control cookies per site, block third-party cookies, or clear them when you close the browser.
